Paul Pogba to Real Madrid: Man Utd star could leave as Real confident on signing him

Paul Pogba to Real Madrid: The Manchester United footballer could leave Old Trafford this summer after it has been reported that Real are chasing the player.

Manchester United have not been in good form for quite some time.

The side conceded defeats in seven of their last nine games across all competitions which include defeats in the FA Cup and the Champions League. United are currently at the sixth place in the league.

However, Manchester United still have the chance to finish in the top-4, thanks to dropping in the form of their competitors, Chelsea and Arsenal.

Off-the-field, the things don’t look inspiring either for the club. Paul Pogba stirred controversy when he stated in a press conference during the international break that a move to Real Madrid is every footballer’s ‘dream’.

And it seems like the Santiago Bernabeu outfit is preparing for the transfer.

Paul Pogba to Real Madrid:

According to Sky, Real Madrid are confident of signing Paul Pogba, as well as Eden Hazard in the summer.

Zinedine Zidane is aiming for a major club overhaul in the upcoming transfer window after a disappointing domestic and European season. The French manager left the club after the end of the last year, and it has been reported earlier that he came back on assurances that he would be given a hefty budget to lead the overhaul.

While Solskjaer stated that he expects Paul Pogba to stay, he also hinted that he cannot confirm his future. While the midfielder has been supportive of Solskjaer, his comments about Real Madrid led to speculations over his time at Manchester United.

Pogba joined the Old Trafford outfit in 2016 and has since been one of their key players. However, his inconsistent performances have drawn criticism from fans and pundits alike.

Eden Hazard, meanwhile, has long been linked with a move to Santiago Bernabeu. The Belgian attacker could’ve joined Real Madrid last summer, but the departure of Zidane stalled the move at the time.
