Paul Pogba Transfer News: Zinedine Zidane answers Paul Pogba’s speculations of joining Real Madrid in this transfer window.
Paul Pogba has been speculated with Real Madrid since long and the French midfielder himself openly shown his desire to leave the club in the last summer transfer window.
With the speculations fuelling once again, Zinedine Zidane has responded to the rumours regarding Pogba’s possible transfer to Real Madrid during a press conference.
“How can I reply to that?” he said at his pre-match press conference. “Paul [Pogba] is a player at another team and the important thing for him – because I think he is injured – is to get back playing.
“I wish him the very best but we focus on what we have,” Zidane said further. This is not the for the first time when the former French International has been asked about Pogba and this time he has refused to be elaborative about.
Pogba has rarely been in action since October when he picked up the ankle injury and since then he has been in and out of the action making Manchester United fans furious about his situation.
It has been alleged that Pogba is trying to devalue himself in order to get a move out of Manchester United either by this window or the next, but Ole Solskjaer today only responded to the queries related to his injuries.
But the bosses at Manchester United are well aware that their star midfielder is set to leave the club with his contract expiring in 2021. On the other hand, Zidane has been an admirer of his compatriot.
Los Blancos’ manager even tried his best to acquire his services but the deal never took off even though Pogba asserted on his departure from England.
