Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang crashes his £270,000 Lamborghini supercar. Fortunately, no one was injured in the ensuing accident.
Arsenal’s newly appointed captain, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has not had the best of times recently. Last night his side suffered a 2-0 loss to Leicester City in the Premier League while he had an effort ruled out for offside. He had to watch in despair as Arsenal lost yet another away match.

Aubameyang is seen by many as the only shining light in a severely underperforming side. However, even he was not spared abuses by fans last month. A video had surfaced last month showing the Gabonese striker in his Lamborghini while Arsenal fans gathered around him hurling abuses at him.
The fans were severely criticised for their irrational behaviour and claimed that the fan base was turning toxic rapidly. However, that will be of little consolation to Aubameyang after he was involved in a car crash that left his prized possession crumpled on the road.

Hours before Arsenal’s match vs Leicester City, Aubameyang had been involved in a crash with a Mercedes near Potters Bar in Hertfordshire, according to The Sun. Pictures have since come out showing Aubameyang looking on in despair as he stood next to the crumpled bonnet of his £270,000 silver Lamborghini following a prang on the M25.
The accident happened as Aubameyang was heading home from training on Friday evening. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident. An onlooker told the Sun:
“It was rush hour so cars were not going fast and travelling around them.”
Arsenal are currently at 6th place with 17 points. They are 14 points behind table toppers Liverpool despite playing a game less. It has been reported that if Arsenal fail to qualify for the Champions League this season, Aubameyang will leave the club. Arsenal have two routes to the coveted competition. However, the path through the Premier League looks like a mountain too high for them at the moment.
