Their only victory in this period came in 2009, however, Burnley held the Old Trafford outfit for a crucial 2-2 draw last season, which proved to be the turning point of United’s Premier League title hopes.

With that being said, Manchester United will be heading into the game as favourites, even after being decimated in their previous two league encounters. However, Dyche’s Burnley will also be looking to take advantage and capture the club’s second-ever victory over United in the Premier League era.
