Cristiano Ronaldo’s marriage with Real Madrid is set to come to an end, with the long pending divorce ultimately paving way for a new relationship with Old Lady of Turin.

Ever since the Champions League final ended, reports of rift between Ronaldo and the Madrid management had been doing the rounds, as Ronaldo wasn’t happy with out the Los Blancos were valuing him.

His comments after the Champions League final suggested that he was looking to move elsewhere; to a new club, towards a new challenge.

The World Cup had helped subside the talks a little, but ever since Portugal’s exit at the hands of Uruguay, the rumour mill has been churning rather rapidly.

Juventus have tried to keep their excitement a little low, but more and more reports from Italy suggested that the move was actually a possibility.

And with Juventus president travelling to Ronaldo’s vacation home in Greece, Sky Sports has reported that

The £105 million transfer is more than that of the initial £88 million figure and surely Ronaldo would have had a role to play in it.

Reports suggested that Ronaldo was unhappy with the low valuation that Madrid had for him, as they were willing to sell him for a figure in the range of £88 million.

Ronaldo who had a £1 billion release clause felt betrayed and had spoken to Madrid in January about a possible move away.

More details to follow…
