For many years, PSG have been trying to become a dominant European force and be recognized as a footballing elite. But while they have not been extremely fruitful over the years, it all changed this summer.
The acquisition of Neymar shocked the footballing world as PSG snatched one of the best players in the world from a traditional giant such as Barcelona. Not only that, but PSG even managed to snare the most exciting player in the world in Kylain Mbappe.
Neymar and Mbappe in addition to Silva, Veratti and Cavani have made PSG one of the favourites for the Champions League, something that the club needs to be truly considered as an elite club.

Now there are reports that are saying that PSG are looking to get David De Gea next summer. While Manchester United will not want to sell their prized keeper, De Gea might get tempted by the lure of playing with the likes of Silva, Neymar and Mbappe.
It is already a surprise that De Gea is still at United, given how much he wanted to leave and go to Real Madrid. But with the Spanish club now looking at signing Chelsea’s Courtois, PSG feel that they have a chance with De Gea.
De Gea would instantly improve PSG and make them a scary outfit. With Neymar, Cavani and Mbappe up front, Verratti and Rabiot in the middle and Silva at the back protected by De Gea, the French side could go on to create a dynasty.
