PV Sindhu has become the leading light in Indian badminton and one of the most recognizable faces in Indian sport as a whole. And her rise in stature has been recognized as PV Sindhu rises to world number two in the badminton.

It has been a remarkable year for PV Sindhu !

Her performances in the Rio Olympics 2016 made her an overnight sensation and she has only gone from strength to strength since.

Although she lost the final and could settle only for the silver medal, she won our hearts back home and has not looked back since.

Last week she won her maiden India Open as she avenged her Olympics loss by beating Carolina Marin in the finals held in Delhi.

And now the corporates have also jumped on the Sindhu bandwagon. Sindhu has now started winning off the pitch as well as she has bagged some of the biggest endorsement deals in the country.

So much so that Sindhu is now in the same bracket as some of the top notch Bollywood actresses in the country today. And this is only going to increase now that PV Sindhu rises to world number two in the world wide rankings.
