Harsha Bhogle often narrates the story of how he met Ravindra Jadeja back in 2008.

It was during the inaugural edition of the IPL, when the renowned commentator was introduced to the Jadeja by his then captain Shane Warne.

The Aussie legend introduced him as the next big superstar of Indian cricket which certainly piqued Bhogle’s interest in the youngster.

Almost a decade later, Warne turned out to be right as Ravi Jadeja has firmly established himself as a crucial art of the India set up.

Up until recently, Jadeja was critical in both the test as well as limited overs format for the team.

But the performances of Chahal and Kuldeep have ousted both Jadeja and Ashwin from the ODI and T20 setup for now.

But Jadeja has kept himself busy as the all-rounder came into the limelight for hitting six sixes in an over in a Saurashtra T20 league match.

Plying his wares for Jamnagar in the local cricket match of SCA, he bludgeoned a flamboyant 154 off just 69 deliveries against Amreili.

With nothing interesting happening in the cricketing world lately, Jadeja’s dazzling knock took the cricket fraternity by storm.

Though it was just a local cricket match, Jadeja’s presence added spice to the flavour making it as a high-octane clash as his stellar innings included a flurry of 15 fours and 10 towering sixes.

Jadeja’s awesome innings rewarded his team Jamnagar gain match-winning 4 points as Jamnagar beat Amreili by a whopping 121 runs.

The SCA inter-district T20 tournament stars 16 teams in the slot that is divided into four groups. Jamnagar are scheduled to play their next game against Botad in the upcoming Saturday.

Last year, Jamnagar reached the semi-finals of the tournament with the aim to get better this time around.

With Jadeja in such a mood anything is possible!
