RCB vs DC Match Prediction

RCB vs DC Match Prediction: The Sportsrush presents before you the Match Prediction of 20th match of IPL 2019.

The 20th match of the ongoing 12th season of the Indian Premier League will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals at Bengaluru. With both teams coming on the back of individual losses, one can expect a riveting contest tomorrow.

What Kolkata Knight Riders all-rounder Andre Russell did with RCB last night cannot be explained in words. Russell’s brutal game-changing innings came as him rubbing salt on RCB’s wounds post them losing five consecutive matches.

With Capitals losing three out of five matches so far, even they aren’t in a very comfortable space at the moment. Another defeat will see them dropping down in the points table.

RCB vs DC – What numbers suggest?

Playing the IPL since 2008, Royal Challengers and Capitals have played 22 matches against each other so far. A stat which is likely to rejuvenate RCB is the fact that they have won 15 matches against DC as compared to them winning only six matches in 11 seasons.

Among the 10 matches played at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, RCB have won six as compared to Capitals only winning three matches. What will come handy for Delhi is their average score of 161 against Royal Challengers. The hosts’ average score against Delhi lies way below at 154.

RCB vs DC – Paper value

The current form of both the teams lays enough significance on the fact that both of them have been highly patchy in IPL 2019 so far. Both of them making significant changes to their respective Playing XIs has also not worked well for them.

Given RCB’s bowling form, Capitals’ batsmen would be looking to bank on the Chinnaswamy’s supportive surface. That being said, if RCB’s batsmen manage to counter Kagiso Rabada well, even they have a lot of runs in the offing.

Going by Royal Challengers stellar home record against Capitals, they stand favourites against them. Captain Virat Kohli and senior batsman AB de Villiers returning to form last night is also a positive sign for them.
