Real Madrid are ready to send James Rodriguez the one way to sign Christian Eriksen.

Real Madrid are planning a complete revamp in the forthcoming summer. The President of Real Madrid is open to cash in on some of their stars, in the views of planning for the long term because some of them have passed their prime.

The Los Blancos have been linked with a move for Mauro Icardi, Christian Eriksen, and Eder Militao in the recent months as the president Florentino Perez is looking for a complete revamp.

There have been plenty of reports claiming that Florentino Perez has chosen Christian Eriksen over Chelsea’s Eden Hazard. Making the Dutch International his priority, the Los Blancos are willing to hand James Rodriguez over to Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur, according to the Spanish publication AS.

The Colombian attacking midfielder is currently on loan at Bayern Munich. His temporary deal with the German outfit gets over in the upcoming summer which has made Perez think about the prospect of a cash-plus-player deal for Christian Eriksen.

The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has refused to put pen to paper and extend his deal with the London outfit as he leaves the door open to move elsewhere. The midfielder’s contract runs up to 2020, but the club has a chance of extending it for one more year which will force the Los Blancos to pay a hefty sum.

It is understood that Daniel Levy is valuing him at 120 million euros. On the other hand, James Rodriguez will have three years in his contract following this summer. A deal around 40 to 50 five million plus James Rodriguez would be enough to seal Christian Eriksen from Spurs.

There is no doubt that the Dutch International would improve in the creativity part of the game after paying the price for the trust on Isco.

Since the departure of Zinedine Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo, the Los Blancos have been not able to get consistent results. The idea of recruiting Julen Lopetegui did not work out for Florentino Perez who keeps on looking for options. It will be interesting to see the player and managerial changes at Real Madrid this summer.

Jose Mourinho has been linked with a move back to Santiago Bernabeu in the upcoming months. The Portuguese International is currently without a job after being relieved from his duties in the mid-December following a shambolic performance against the arch-rivals Liverpool.

Even though the board decided to hand over a three-year contract to Santiago Solari, the results have been underwhelming under the Spaniard despite reaching the knockout rounds in the Champions League and the Copa Del Rey.
