Real Madrid are preparing a shock move for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.

Real Madrid are preparing bids that will create havoc in the transfer window this summer. With the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, Florentino Perez intends to bring in statement signings in the form of Chelsea’s Eden Hazard and Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski.

This will be a big blow to Chelsea, who have made Robert Lewandowski their primary target after the failure of Alvaro Morata at the Stamford Bridge. On the other hand, Chelsea are also unwilling to let go off Hazard, but the Los Blancos are willing to pay a massive £200 million for the Belgian international.

Real Madrid are understood to be desperate to bring in new names after quiet transfer windows over the past few years.

On the other hand, Eden Hazard has not agreed on a new contract with Chelsea, and has reportedly hinted many times that it is time for him to leave the Blues.

Robert Lewandowski, who is chased by both Manchester Untied and Chelsea, has revealed that he would like to stay in the Bundesliga, but Real Madrid are adamant to test his mettle with a strong bid.

Lewandowski was reportedly unhappy during the season at the Allianz Arena, but recently claimed that he would want to stay with the Bavarians.

The Polish international was the number 1 primary target for Chelsea’s new manager Maurizio Sarri this summer, but it was reported that Juventus would also offer a swap deal with Alvaro Morata coming back to Turin with Gonzalo Higuain going the other way.

The 29-year-old had a poor outing in Russia at the World Cup for Poland, but he has scored 180 times in just 157 games combined for Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich.

It will be interesting to see whether Real Madrid are able to land both superstars, with Perez also lining up to sign PSG stars Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.
