Real Madrid Transfer News: Spanish giants looking forward to hiring the services of Wolves superstar Raul Jiminez in the next transfer window.

Real Madrid is going through a transition period under the management of Zinedine Zidane, and the Spanish giants are making all the right choices amidst the plans.

According to a report by the Don Balon, as per AS, Zinedine Zidane has requested to sign Raúl Jiménez this summer because he will fit in perfectly in Madrid and help Benzema with striking duties.

The report further states that it wishes to get rid of Mariano and want to loan Luka Jovic, so he can get more playing time elsewhere. On the other hand, Jiminez would be happy to return to the Spanish capital.

The Mexica striker earlier played for Atletico Madrid but failed to do anything significant in his brief stint, as he scored only once in the 28 games.

After that, he made his move to Wolverhampton and has taken the Premier League by storm. In 44 games across all competitions this season, he has amassed 22 goals and 10 assists.

If the move to Real materialises this summer the Mexican international would follow the steps of his fellow compatriots Hugo Sanchez and Chicharito.

The move could be materialized between £50-60 million, as per his current valuation. Considering the form of the 28-yer-old striker, the price seems reasonable.

Currently, Real Madrid is lacking the number of goals scored in matches, with Benzema being the only threat inside the box, the rest of the attacking department is yet to reach their potential as they are very less experienced.

Now it is upon Real Madrid to make a further move, but things might take longer as the spread of COVID-19 has stopped the season for a while in Europe.
