Rennes 16-year-old prodigal player Eduardo Camavinga’s man of the match performance against PSG has gathered everyone’s attention.

PSG have a night to forget after they faced a defeat against Rennes last night. Surprisingly, the player responsible for Les Parisiens defeat is a 16-year-old young player, who ran a riot against them.

The Angolan born player picked up an assist and had a 98% successful pass rate, won tackles and dribbles and was hugely impressive all round as he won the Man of the Match award in just his ninth game for the Rennes first team.

This dynamic performance by Camavinga has surely fetched the eyes of several scouts, as he just bossed one of the biggest clubs in Europe, and was responsible for their defeat.

The performance by the 16-year-old midfielder made him win the man of the match award, and it could be seen that the French Champions had no idea about what was coming ahead.

On the other hand, PSG once again played without Neymar, who is reportedly injured but also speculated to join Barcelona this summer. However, the Paris based club was still expected to register a win over Rennes.

Edinson Cavani put them ahead after 36 minutes but goals either side of half time, from M’Baye Niang and Romain del Castillo, put Julien Stéphan’s side ahead before the 50-minute mark.

Rennes were dominated in possession by PSG, yet Rennes were able to register an unlikely victory against Thomas Tuchel’s side. However, The win though didn’t grab the headlines as much as the boy wonder Camavinga, who even gained an eight out of 10 from L’Equipe and made it into the papers Team of the Week.
