Rishabh Pant has broken through in the Test team at a very young age and has a bright future ahead of him.
In an interview with bcci.tv, Pant has heaped fraise on his idol and veteran keeper-batsman MS Dhoni for his support throughout his career.
“Whenever I needed any support from Mahi bhai, I used to ask him. From my IPL contract to my wicket-keeping, he’s advised me on everything.
“He’s always told me that when it comes to wicket-keeping, your hands and head coordination is important, the body balance can come into play later. That (his advice) has helped me a lot,” added the left-handed Delhi batsman,” Pant said.
Pant had been in the India A tour and he came up with rich dividends. He is considered the next Indian wicket keeper after MS Dhoni decides to hang his boots. The Delhi keeper-batsman had a memorable IPL 2018 and was in contention for the Purple cap.
