Leicester City star, Riyad Mahrez is on the verge of joining Premier League giants Arsenal very soon. After being courted by some of the best clubs in Europe, Mahrez is favouring a move to North London this summer.
Mahrez shot to prominence during Leicester City’s incredible Premier League winning season. He, Vardy and Kante were the stars of the team that secured the biggest upset in the history of the Premier League.

Mahrez was linked with Arsenal last year as well, but chose to stay put at Leicester rather than move again. But it looks like the Algerian has decided to part ways this time around, as he wishes to take the next step in his career.
‘The chairman and I agreed that I would stay another year at the club and that he would let me leave at the end of the season,’ Mahrez said.
‘I think it would be the right time for me to leave, I have experienced everything at this football club.’
Mahrez had hoped that Barcelona would come calling with an offer. But it was not to be as the Catalan giants have prioritized a move for Marco Verratti instead.
Arsenal have bid a 35 Million offer for the winger, with a four year contract on the table. Mahrez is considering it very seriously, as he knows that a move to Arsenal with give him the opportunity to play with some of the best players in the world.
This would be a good move for Arsenal as well, with Mahrez providing goals and creativity to the side. It could be a move which suits all parties.
