At first it seemed that Tottenham would bag three points at home after Heung-Min Son scored a splendid goal to make it 1-0. Later, Joshua Kimmich’s incredible strike leveled the score.

Followed by a brace by Robert Lewandowski and a four goals by Serge Gnabry to make it 7-2. Amidst the thumping by Bayern Munich, one of the highlights of the game was Lewandowski’s brilliant skill against Spurs’ defence before he converted the goal in 2-1.

The Polish International made a mesmerizing flick against Jan Vertonghen. Then, a few seconds later, the ball fell to him inside the penalty area. He turned and finished superbly to put the German’s 2-1 up at the interval.

The 30-year-old striker is pulling out world-class performances when the whole football fraternity thought that he is past his peak years.

Meanwhile, troubles are added for Tottenham, who are struggling to find a win in the new edition of the apex European competition.
