Rohit Sharma asks Rishabh Pant to babysit his daughter

Rohit Sharma asks Rishabh Pant to babysit his daughter: The Indian opening batsman has made a special request to the wicket-keeper batsman.

India wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant has had a wonderful start to his Test career. Having played only nine Tests, he has become the joint-highest ranked Indian wicket-keeper in the MRF ICC Test Rankings.

The 21-year old southpaw has scored a couple of overseas centuries (The Oval and Sydney) to become the only the second visiting wicket-keeper (after Jeff Dujon) to score  Test century each in England and Australia.

Pant also grabbed 20 catches in four matches, which is the most number of catches taken by an Indian wicket-keeper in a Test series.

Apart from scoring runs and taking catches, Pant also made plentiful news with him getting involved in banters with the opposition players throughout the series. It is worth mentioning that Pant was constantly in the ears of the Australian batsmen. Pant was witnessed saying a few things to the Australian batsmen which included Usman Khawaja, Pat Cummins and Tim Paine.

The highlight of Pant’s banter game was him getting clicked with Bonnie Paine and her kids. Soon followed him sharing a funny moment with the Australian Prime Minister and Bonnie Paine crediting him for increased fan-following on Instagram.

Pant’s reputation as a babysitter rose to an extent that Bonnie Paine asked for his help yet again recently. Apart from Bonnie Paine, India vice-captain in limited-overs Rohit Sharma also asked for Pant’s help in babysitting her newly-born daughter.

It all started after Sharma commented on one of Pant’s tweets. Read the conversation below:

Pant amusingly asked Sharma if India leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal (a close friend of Sharma) isn’t doing his job properly. However, he followed it with agreeing to help his senior teammate.

It was at this point in time that Sharma’s wife Ritika Sajdeh also commented on the same.
