The Hitman posted a picture of a cup of green tea and his goggles by the clear blue waters. However the opener did not reveal the serene location.
It is said that he taking his wife to exotic locations around the world. The pair are keeping it a secret as they are enjoying this break, which will no come again in a long time.
One of the reasons why Rohit was rested was because they did not want to strain him so early in his return from injury. His long road recovery led him to the IPL, where he worked his magic again.
He led the Mumbai Indians to their third IPL title but was not in great form in the tournament.
However he regained his magic touch in the Champions trophy and was the second highest run getter in the tournament with a high score of not out , only behind fellow opener Shikhar Dhawan.
Earlier Rohit stood by and supported Indian skater Nischay Luthra and appealed to his followers to help the national champion with financial assistance to help him prepare for the Winter Olympics.
This helped Nischay raise the required money.
