Back in 2007, Yuvraj Singh was one of the best batsmen in the world, while Rohit Sharma was a young rookie trying to make a name for himself.

But little did we know that Yuvi did not get along with the young Mumbai batsman when he first entered the Indian team.
Things have changed now, as the pair share a great camaraderie and remain the best of friends, which is stark difference from when they first met each other.
In a candid chat on ‘Breakfast with Champions’, hosted by Gaurav Kapur, Rohit Sharma recalled the first time he met the classy left hander.

Rohit Sharma, who was a big fan of Yuvraj Singh back then, said that he was quite shy at first and was in complete awe of the senior players in the squad.
“I used to fear the players. The first time when I was to board the team bus with other players, I reached the lobby one hour earlier. I was waiting for everyone,” Rohit added.
“They came slowly but Yuvraj was looking different from far sight. I was a big fan of Yuvi,” Rohit Sharma added while speaking about his first meeting with Yuvraj.
Rohit even narrated an incident in which Yuvi bullied him on the team bus!
While Rohit was quietly sitting on his seat, Yuvraj came in and forced the youngster to get up and pick another spot on the bus!
Rohit was shocked, but as he did not want to upset one of the senior members in the team, he quietly moved to another seat.
Things started to obviously change in a few days time, as Yuvraj slowly warmed up to the talented batsman. This was also the T20 World Cup, in which Yuvraj famously smashed six sixes in one Stuart Broad over.
After the match, Yuvi treated Rohit to dinner and thus broke the ice between the two!
