Romelu Lukaku moves one inch closer to Inter Milan transfer with a remarkable Conte claim

Romelu Lukaku moves one inch closer to Inter Milan with a remarkable claim about Antonio Conte.

Romelu Lukaku has said that Antonio Conte is the best manager in the world. Besides, he admitted that he was close to joining Juventus in the past before the Italian International left Juventus.

The Belgian International has been framed out by the current manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who prefers Marcus Rashford in the frontline. Even if the former Everton striker has a chance to start, he is operated through the right flank –  a position which does not content Lukaku.

In the recent interview, the 26-year-old has spoken about the transfer away from Old Trafford. Lukaku opted to play for Jose Mourinho over Antonio Conte in 2017, but things could change in the summer transfer window.

The striker has been linked with a potential move to Inter Milan, upon Antonio Conte’s arrival this season. The Belgian made a remarkable claim about Antonio Conte, by labelling him as the best manager in the world.

Lukaku said: ”It’s a good thing that Conte went to Inter, for me he’s the best manager in the world. Regarding my future, I know it will be a long and busy summer, I have to wait until United but I already made my decision that I can’t communicate publicly out of respect for the contract I have with the Red Devils”

The 26-year-old iterated that he was close to joining Juventus in the past, but signed for Everton on a full-time basis in 2015.

Lukaku went on:”I was on verge of joining Juventus in the past, but I sensed something was wrong. Two days later Conte left. Thank God I didn’t go. I’m a big fan of Serie A, those close to me know that I want to play in English and Italian league, I love Italy. Now Cristiano Ronaldo arrived, Sarri will go to Juventus, and Ancelotti is at Napoli: it will be an exciting Serie A”.

Here’s how Twitter has reacted..
