Romelu Lukaku to leave MUFC

Romelu Lukaku to leave MUFC: The striker is set to leave Manchester United, if reports from England are to be believed.

Manchester United are currently 8th in the Premier League. The pressure is mounting on Jose Mourinho, and his relationship with players is reportedly on the rocks.

Yet, a spirited performance from the side ensured a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford against Arsenal. Martial and Lingard scored the two goals for United, as the side came back from behind on both the occasions.

United will face Fulham in the Premier League later today, and Mourinho’s side would be desperate to return to winning ways. Claudio Ranieri’s side is currently at the bottom of the table.

However, things look bleak for the club as another star player is reported to be unhappy. Here are the full details:

Romelu Lukaku to leave MUFC:

The Belgian forward has struggled with form ever since the beginning of the season. Lukaku has been subject to criticism due to his disappointing slump in form, as the striker has scored only 5 goals this season.

Jose Mourinho benched the forward after inconsistent form last month, and the striker was on the bench against Arsenal earlier this week.

English outlet ‘Sun’ now reports that the striker has grown frustrated with the lack of game time at the club. The situation has become worse after Jorge Mendes issued a statement on Mourinho’s situation at the club.

The agent stated that Mourinho is perfectly happy with Manchester United, and vice-versa. He also insisted that the manager wants to build a successful side.

Earlier, there were reports that United’s board wants Pochettino to replace the Portuguese. Lukaku is not the first player to be reported unhappy at the club.

Paul Pogba, on a number of occasions, voiced his criticism at the team’s style of play, and the situation grew worse after the midfielder and Mourinho were caught arguing during a training session.

What next?

Manchester United will be up against Fulham in the league game later tonight. Mourinho’s side will be looking to grab three points and end their dismal winless streak in the league, which extended to four games after draw against Arsenal.
