SA vs AUS Dream11 Prediction : South Africa vs Australia Best Dream 11 Team for 1st ODI

SA vs AUS Dream11 Prediction: South Africa vs Australia – 29 February 2020 (Paarl)

South Africa will take on Australia in the 1st ODI of the 3 match ODI series which will be played at the Boland Park in Paarl. Australia dominated the Proteas in the T20 series and they will be the favourites to do the same in the ODI series too. Australia possesses a very settled squad and raring to go in the 50 overs format too.

Ashton Agar has been the bright light for the Australians, as the spin-bowling all-rounder looked in red-hot form in the T20 series. South Africa, on the other hand, have given rest to Faf du Plessis and Rassie van der Dussen which really came as a surprise. Janneman Malan is set to make his ODI debut for the Proteas. Australia will certainly be the favourites here and South Africa would definitely have to punch above their weights.

Pitch Report – Boland Park has been a decent batting wicket with an average 1st innings score of 258. The chasing record at Boland Park is not great and we witnessed the same thing in the T20 series too. The winning captain would be tempted to bat first.

Match Details :

Time:- 4.30 PM, Live on Sony Six

Probable XI for both sides:-

South Africa – Quinton de Kock, Janneman Malan, Temba Bavuma, Heinrich Klassen, Jon Jon Smuts, David Miller, Andile Phehlukwayo, Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Ngidi, Tabraiz Shamsi, Anrich Nortje.

Australia – David Warner, Aaron Finch, Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne, Mitchell Marsh, Alex Carey, Ashton Agar, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa, Josh Hazlewood.

5 Must-Have Players in the Squad

Quinton de Kock, David Warner, Steve Smith, Temba Bavuma, and Ashton Agar.

SA vs AUS Dream11 Wicket-Keepers

Quinton de Kock (Price 10.5) will be the wicket-keeper of our squad as he has been in a sublime form since last couple of months. Quinton is a brilliant striker of the ball and will carry the responsibility to give Proteas a brilliant start.

SA vs AUS Dream11 Batsmen

The batting trio of David Warner (Price 10.5), Steve Smith (Price 10), and Marnus Labuschagne (Price 8.5) will be our batters from Australia. Warner is a genuine match-winner and is in a very good form too, he will be an automatic choice in the team. Steve Smith is a class player and was brilliant in the last ODI series against India, he is a very stable option batting at number 3. Marnus has an unforgettable last year where he has sealed his position in the ODI squad too, he is a genuine game-changer and will be looking to prove his mark.

[Aaron Finch struggles against the in-swinging fast bowlers in the ODI games. Kagiso Rabada will be looking to hurt that part and that’s why Aaron Finch has been dropped from our team]

Temba Bavuma (Price 8.5) and Heinrich Klassen (Price 8.5) will be our batter from the Proteas. Bavuma is back after recovering from his knee injury and will be raring to go in this game, he has been in absolutely peach of a form. Klassen has also been great in the domestic ODI competition and will be looking to carry the same form in the International Arena.

SA vs AUS Dream11 All-Rounders

Ashton Agar (Price 8) will be our lone all-rounder in the team. Ashton was absolutely brilliant in the T20 games with the ball and also played a brilliant knock with the bat. Ashton will be raring to repeat the heroics in the ODI format too.

SA vs AUS Dream11 Bowlers

Mitchell Starc (Price 9) and Adam Zampa (Price 8.5) will be our bowlers from Australia. Starc is one of the best white-ball bowlers and will carry the burden of taking wickets in the powerplay overs whereas Adam Zampa has been a genuine wicket-taker with his leg-spin and would like to make an impact in the middle-overs.

Kagiso Rabada (Price 9.5) and Lungi Ngidi (Price 8.5) will be our quicks from the Proteas. Rabada is a gun-bowler in the ODI format and will be looking to exploit the Australian top-order whereas Ngidi has been in a brilliant wicket-taking form and he would like to continue his wicket-taking form.

Match Prediction: Australia will be the favourites to win this game.
