Sachin Tendulkar part of a major goof up on Twitter

It is tough to be Sachin Tendulkar.

Sure, you get plaudits for your legendary exploits on the pitch and have millions of people worshiping you. But then again your personal life and space does not really exist especially in a country like India.

It also does not help that a billion people in this country blindly follow everything that you say and do. This means that you have an incredible amount of persuading power, something that any politician will kill for.

This is why Sachin lives under a cloud of constant pressure, wherein he needs to be careful in whatever he says particularly on social media.

But looks like he made a silly error this time around.

Sachin tweeted a new video for a fitness campaign. In the video he asked people if they knew friends who make a lot of excuses regarding their fitness.

If so, then Sachin asked us to give their mobile numbers and Sachin himself would give them a pep talk .

The idea which at first sounds so simple, turned into a privacy disaster. Thousands of people started giving personal cell phone numbers on Twitter, something that could land Sachin in a lot of trouble.

Possibly even jail time!

Many people did not even seem to be too flustered by it. They felt that no wrong can happen by following Sachin’s orders.

“Kuch nahi hoga yaar, bhagwan ne bola hai to karneka.(Nothing will happen mate, when god has asked you have to do).”

Clearly some people take Sachin a little too seriously!
