Santi Cazorla's incredible 35-yard stunner against Barcelona is a sight to behold

Santi Cazorla’s goal against Barcelona is a treat to watch!

Barcelona invited Villarreal to Nou Camp on Tuesday. The hosts had Lionel Messi back, but it was the midfielder general Santi Cazorla, who registered with an extraordinary goal.

The Spanish Champions were leading 2-0 at the Nou Camp and the former Arsenal man Cazorla produced a genius moment. Nou Camp erupted to give a standing ovation for that spectacular strike. What’s more spectacular is to beat Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, who is one of the best shot-stoppers in current football, from that distance.

The 34-year-old, who signed as a free agent for Villarreal last summer, failed to play during a major part of last two seasons at the Emirates due to regular injuries. Rightfully, football fans are so happy to witness Santi Cazorla taking steps towards playing football at the level he used to play before.

Known for his prowess with both his foot, the Spaniard used his left to slot the ball inside the back of the net.

SANTI CAZORLA’s GOAL VS BARCELONA:

Santi Cazorla’s strike gave a glimmer of hope for Villarreal for the rest of the second half, but the Blaugrana managed to keep their opponents on the check. First-half goals from Arthur Melo and Antoine Griezmann were the separating points in this game.

The Brazilian midfielder improvised a spectacular technique which saw the ball swivelling away from the goalkeeper. It was a great goal from him to add one more to his tally.

Ernesto Valverde’s start to the season has been torrid – picking up just ten points out of six games. They are a point adrift of three teams up top despite playing an additional game comparatively.
