Sheffield United vs Liverpool: 3 players who could change the game on their own | Premier League

Roberto Firmino

The scoring charts may be dominated by the likes of Mane and Salah but Firmino remains the crown jewel of Klopp’s side. His ability to play at any position despite officially being listed as a striker makes him a very dangerous player to play against.

Firmino’s hunger of the ball is inspiring. He is a striker that loves to tackle but most importantly, he has no hesitation letting his teammates get all the glory; as he creates chance after chance for Mane and Salah.

The Brazilian has 2 goals and 3 assists so far in the season. Not impressive but his contribution can hardly be judged by numbers. Just ask Virgil Van Dijk, who called him the best player he’s ever played with. Or even Mane and Salah who will undoubtedly thank him for creating vacant spaces for them to exploit.

Firmino may very well be the most important player in the pitch tomorrow during the Sheffield United vs Liverpool match.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
