Sheffield United Vs Manchester United: David De Gea makes terrific double save to deny a goal to the blades, recalled his previous form in the process.

Manchester United’s contingent is at Bramall Lane in the 13th game-week of the Premier League. So far, Manchester United is not having an easy night against Sheffield United.

The Blades are constantly making chances against the visitors and it has certainly made Ole Solskjaer’s side uneasy in the first phase of the game.

Amidst the constant lethal strikes by Sheffield United, David De Gea came at the front to rescue his team to face an early deficit, as the Spaniard made a spectacular double save to prevent his team from conceding early.

De Gea first saved a powerful volley from John Lundstram which would have gone in on any other day but Manchester United’s goalkeeper broke the hearts of fantasy premier league fans with his brilliance.

Seconds later, the ball was once again sent inside the box and David McGoldrick struck a powerful header but De Gea was firm on his position and denied Sheffield United twice in few seconds. The splendid saves by the Spanish goalkeeper were well applauded.

Nevertheless, a few minutes later Manchester United faced disappointed in the game, as Sheffield United scored in the 19th minute from John Fleck’s strike after a rebound from Lundstram’s attempt.

Phil Jones made a grave mistake while controlling the ball, near his team’s 18-yard-box  Nobody was able to judge what the English defender intended to do at that time.

Irrespective of it, McGoldrick won the ball from Jones and passed the ball inside the 18-yard-box which made De Gea vulnerable and certainly spoilt his hard work to maintain a clean sheet.
