SRH vs DC 2019: 3 Player Battles to look forward to
SRH vs DC 2019: The Sportsrush presents before you three intriguing player battles ahead of the 30th match of IPL 2019.
The Delhi Capitals have managed to pull themselves up after a dip in their performances. They have won 3 on the bounce and will look to make it 4 when they take on the Sunrisers Hyderabad at their home ground in Hyderabad.
The one area they would like to work on is their middle order batting which might be needed to contribute significantly against a wicket-taking team like SRH.
SRH, on the other hand, have many issues to sort out. They need their middle order to find some form and support the top order. They cannot depend on the openers in every game. It will be interesting to see if Williamson is fit and playing. Bhuvneshwar Kumar also needs to find back his old magic.
Some of the player battles that would be exciting to watch are as follows:
Sandeep Sharma vs Prithvi Shaw
The young Prithvi Shaw has been in form for most of this season. However, he has tended to knick the balls which swing away from him like the one against Prasidh Krishna the other night.
Sandeep Sharma has been an excellent exponent of swing and he needs to deliver in the powerplay overs by getting the important wicket of Shaw. The 19-year old will be wary of Sandeep Sharma who has been accurate and a potent wicket-taker in this IPL.

Jonny Bairstow vs Sandeep Lamichhane
Bairstow has been in impeccable touch in this IPL. However, in the past few matches, he has not contributed as much as he would have liked to. It seems the opposition have managed to find a chink in his armour, that is, his averseness to spin in general and leg spin in particular.
In 6 matches, Bairstow has been dismissed by a leggie on 5 occasions and by an off-spinner once. DC would like to attack Bairstow with Lamichhane early on in the innings and look to get his wicket cheaply before too much damage is done. Lamichhane has been excellent and would love to pick up this crucial wicket.
Kagiso Rabada vs Kagiso Rabada
The contest between the Orange Cap holder and the Purple Cap holder is going to be a fascinating one. While one can be ruthless while batting, the other’s speed can blow away a batsman. Earlier in this IPL, Rabada did get the better of Warner.
Warner would now be looking to dominate Rabada on the second leg and hit him to all parts of the ground. Rabada, on the other hand, would want to send Warner back as soon as possible and break the backbone of the SRH line-up.
