Last year’s runners-up have not really had an ideal start to the season, having 6 points from 6 games. The Sunrisers Hyderabad have lost their last two games, and will be hoping they can make a comeback when the Delhi Capitals visit their den on Sunday.
The last time the two teams faced each other was at the start of this month, when Sunrisers Hyderabad chased down a score of 130. The team has been led by Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the absence of Kane Williamson, and with the New Zealander now fit, it is likely that Williamson will be back leading the side.
The middle-order and the death bowling has been a concern for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. The death bowling has been disappointing as compared to last season, with the poor performances of Bhuvneshwar Kumar being the center of attraction.

Top-order
The Australian superstar, David Warner, is having a dream season so far, scoring 349 runs in 6 innings, and giving Sunrisers a good start every match. The returning Kane Williamson will also be among the spotlight, as the fans would have missed the Kiwi’s captaincy and batting.
Jonny Bairstow has been another brilliant addition to the Sunrisers side, as the Englishman has compiled partnerships at many a time with Warner. On the other hand, Vijay Shankar has performed decently as well, and a lot will be expected from him.

Middle-order
Manish Pandey is continuing his horror form with the Sunrisers and his poor form has been a major concern for the management over this and the previous season. Pandey will be hoping he can get his form back, while there will be a lot of responsibility on the shoulders of Deepak Hooda as well.
Yusuf Pathan’s poor form might see him replaced by Abhishek Sharma, who is a handy batsman as well. The finishing job will be with Rashid Khan, who has created his name as a hard hitter as well to go with his stunning bowling.
Bowlers
The bowling, arguably Sunrisers strongest department since their inception, has been found wanting this season. Their strike bowler, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, has only managed 3 wickets in 6 games so far and Rashid Khan has also not been at his best. If Sunrisers are to get their form back, these two have to be at their best.
Sandeep Sharma and Siddarth Kaul, however, have been decent, with the former being excellent in the previous game against the Kings XI at the death. The fifth bowling option will be the left-arm spin of Abhishek Sharma, with Deepak Hooda and Kane Williamson chipping in with their part-timers.
