Virat Kohli has started this year with a bang, where he has already scored a couple of ODI centuries in the three matches he has played. He first scored a century in Guwahati in the 1st ODI against Sri Lanka, whereas he smashed yet another ton in Thiruvananthapuram in the 3rd ODI. Kohli was going through a rough patch, but it is certain that he is back with a bang. He has scored 46 ODI centuries and is just three short of equalling Sachin Tendulkar's milestone. India will play a lot of ODIs this year, and it is certain that if Virat can continue, he will be able to break the record. The innings of Virat in the 3rd ODI was one of his best, where he proved his accelerating ability. He smashed 166 runs in just 110 balls at a S/R of 150.91 and got appreciation from all the pundits around the world. Even Shubman Gill scored a brilliant century in the match.
