Team India needs MS Dhoni in all the formats, says Virender Sehwag
Nasty rumours keep circulating to spoil the mood of the cricketers. High-profile cricketers representing the nation seek for motivation rather than getting involved in some ugly battles before stepping on the turf in a bid to shut the critics.
MS Dhoni is good at doing this stuff. Time and again he has done it. It’s not so new to him. Many people have cornered him once and for all to step down from T20Is.
The former Indian cricketer and current commentator VVS Laxman earlier told that MS Dhoni should call curtains on his T20I career in order to give space for the youngster.
This time, the Nawab of Najafgarh came into the scene to express his views on MS Dhoni and his passage of play. He told that India needs MS Dhoni in all the formats.
MS Dhoni’s cricketing brain is the best you will ever see in terms of getting into the scheme of things. That is why his sheer presence is proportional to good outcomes.
Virender Sehwag came in support of MS Dhoni by saying that MSD is an essential asset which India needs even in T20 circuit. He added that MSD will step down at the right time.
“Team India needs MS Dhoni at the moment, even in T20 cricket. He will step down at the right time. He will never block the way for any young cricketer,” Sehwag told India TV.
MS Dhoni is the not the type of guy to not give space for youngsters. Whenever he feels his passion for the game is done, he would step down silently. His ‘unselfish’ Test retirement is a testimony to the fact.
