It’s taken everyone sometime to recover from that MS Dhoni show at the Chinnaswamy last night, but the hangover has indeed subsided now and we are in keen for a cracker of a top of the table clash between SRH and KXIP.

While both teams have had a great start to their IPL campaign this time round, KXIP look the more balanced side as they have won games thanks to their batting and bowling unit.

SRH on the other hand heavily depend on their bowling unit to sometimes clean up the mess made by the batting unit.

Both franchises seem strong at the moment and will want to build on that initial momentum to cement a place in the playoffs as soon as possible.

Let’s get to business now!

Now, I already have Chris Gayle, KL Rahul, Rashid Khan, Kane Williamson, Siddharth Kaul and Shikhar Dhawan in my side for this game.

With 6 players already in my side for this game, I won’t be going in with any changes for this game, especially keeping in mind that rain is forecasted during the build up to the game.

If you want to go all in for this game, and play that multiplier, I would suggest you get in one from Tye and Bhuvi into your side, depending on who bowls first(Also, wait for official confirmation about Bhuvi playing).

I have persisted with my argument of playing the bowler who gets to bowl first as that guarantees the fact that he’ll get to use his death bowling skills for sure.

A death bowler bowling in the second innings might have a very low score to defend and hence the chasing team could  chase it down with a few overs to spare.

Getting in a death bowler from the second innings would be leaving things to chance and I wouldn’t want to do that at this stage of the tournament.

For people who are playing the multiplier, watch out for the weather tonight before making that decision.

Now, coming to the uncapped player, you need to get in one from Basil Thampi, Ankit Rajpoot and Mayank Agarwal.

Thampi could make way for the returning Bhuvi and I can’t get Mayank Agarwal in because of the team combination.

Hence, I would opt for Ankit Rajpoot for this game and hope that he can replicate his man of the match performance today as well.

Match Powerplayer: Rashid Khan

2nd innings Powerplayer: KL Rahul/Kane Williamson(whoever bats second)

Now, I already have Kane Williamson, Shikhar Dhawan, Shakib Al Hasan, KL Rahul, Mujeeb and Rashid Khan in my side for this game.

If Gayle comes in, I draft him into my side, just to be safe, despite knowing the fact that he could be in trouble against the swing duo of Bhuvi and Sandeep.

If you want to make that transfer, opt for one from Andrew Tye and Bhuvi, depending on who bowls first.

I won’t be able to make that transfer because of my team combination.

Batting Powerplayer- Kane Williamson/KL Rahul(whoever bats second)

Bowling Powerplayer- Rashid Khan
