Highest Paid Tennis Players 2020: Forbes list Tennis stars in richest world athletes Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal dominate the list
Highest Paid Tennis Players: Forbes announces highest-paid athletes in the world, included six tennis stars among the top 100 list.
Forbes announced a list of 100 highest-paid athletes in the world in 2020. Out of which 6 has been named from the world of Tennis. Moreover, Roger Federer, whose world ranking is fourth has been named as the highest-paid athlete in the world.
According to the list by Forbes. Federer’s annual salary is around $106.3 million, out of which $100 million comes from endorsements he has signed and rest from his wins/participation in tournaments.
Even though Federer and his rivals Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic don’t have much difference in quality, but there is a huge difference in their annual income.
Further down in the list, Djokovic comes at the 23rd rank, whose annual income has reported to be around $44.6 million, his endorsement signings brought him $32.6 million and rest of $12 million came from his wins/participation in tournaments.
four positions down, Nadal has been placed with $40 million in his name, he reportedly earns $26 million through endorsements and rest of the $14 million was earned from his wins/participation in tournaments.
After this Naomi Osaka and Serena Williams were seen in the list, with both of them holding 29th rank and 33rd rank respectively. The Japanese star isn’t far behind Nadal in earnings as she earns $37.4 million, with $34 million coming from her endorsements and rest $3.4 million from winnings/participation in tournaments.
Meanwhile, Williams has bags $36 million as she gets $32 million from endorsements and rest $4million from her wins/participation in tournaments.
Going a bit further, we see Kei Nishikori as the 40th highest-paid athlete, with $32.1 million in his name. He reportedly earns $31 million from endorsements and rest $1.1 million from wins/participation in tournaments.
In the men dominated list, Williams and Osaka have shown a great impact, but unfortunately, they are the only women athletes ranked in this list.
