Torreira’s goal against Tottenham: Unai Emery is seen orchestrating the passes of Arsenal’s players in Torreira’s goal.

Arsenal are currently 5th in the Premier League after being held to a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford. Manchester United came from behind on both the occasions as Arsenal had to share points on the night.

However, Unai Emery’s side gave a terrific performance against Tottenham in the season’s first North London derby. Arsenal scored four past Tottenham, and came from 1-2 behind at halftime to beat their rivals 4-2.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored a brace, while Lacazette and Torreira ensured three points for the Gunners.

It has now been noticed that Unai Emery orchestrated the passes in the build-up to Lucas Torreira’s goal for Arsenal. Here are the full details:

Torreira’s goal against Tottenham:

The Uruguayan midfielder scored his first goal for Arsenal since joining the club in the summer. The 22-year old star has emerged as one of the key players for Arsenal in his short time at the club, and was adjudged the man of the match against Tottenham.

However, it has now been noticed that Unai Emery gave directions to the Arsenal players for their passing.

Here’s the video:

Unai Emery passes touchline instructions to his players, telling them where to pass the ball.

After the game, Torreira also stressed that Emery’s instructions after going down at halftime helped the side recover. “[Emery told us] to be calm, to continue playing because there were 45 more minutes left, that we keep attacking because obviously in the second half we were going to find more spaces.

“In fact, it happened & we scored the goals at key moments.”

In the end, Lucas Torreira scored his first goal for Arsenal, and secured three points for the Gunners. Arsenal also moved into top-4 with the win, although they have now slipped to 5th again after the draw against United.

Arsenal will now face Huddersfield in the league, where they’ll aim to return to winning ways and close the gap with their London rivals, Tottenham and Chelsea.
