Tottenham Lineup Vs Ajax: Spurs predicted lineup for Champions League Semifinals | Tottenham News

Tottenham Lineup Vs Ajax: Here is how Spurs could lineup against Ajax in the Champions League Semifinals.

Tottenham Hotspur will face off Ajax in the second leg of the Champions League Semifinals at Johan Cruyff Arena. Ajax scored an early goal through their attacking midfielder, Donny Van de Beek last week and it proves to be the all-important away goal.

It was a very tough contest and Spurs were not able to break down the resilient defence albeit having the majority of the possession in the second half. Mauricio Pochettino’s side did not create any clear cut chances and struggled to find their mojo against the fearless Ajax side. It was a very tough game and the English outfit will be hoping to change the complexion of the tie as quickly as possible.

On the other hand, Ajax have punched above their weight in this competition, but they have been thoroughly dominant in their victories over Real Madrid and Juventus, and Spurs in the first leg. Irrespective of the result, they will be proud of their side and will continue to thrive without pressure on Wednesday. The likes of Frenkie De Jong, Matthijs De Ligt, Hakim Ziyech, Dusan Tadic, Donny Van de Beek, David Neres, and Nicolas Tagliafico have been scintillating and they will hope to continue the same in the second leg.

The winner of this tie will face Liverpool at Madrid on June 1.
