"Trae Young is one of the biggest trashtalkers in the NBA, glad the world can see it": Draymond Green praises Hawks star's resilience to Knicks fans' insults

Warriors’ star Draymond Green praises Trae Young and his resilience towards the hatred the Knicks’ fans have been spewing at him

The Atlanta Hawks lost to the New York Knicks 101-92 tonight. The series is now tied at one apiece. Despite another impressive performance by Trae Young, it was the team showing by the Knicks that took the game. Trae Young scored a game-high 30 points and recorded 7 assists to go along with it. Bogdan Bogdanovic and De’Andre Hunter added 18 points each, but it wasn’t enough. The Knicks had five people scoring in double digits, with Derrick Rose leading the way with his 26 points.

The Knicks fans seemed to have loved watching their team go on a 9-0 run in the final five minutes of the game. Not only did they enjoy the run, but they also enjoyed mouthing Trae Young off after the same. Trae Young and the Knicks fans have gotten in a rivalry of sorts after his comments post Game 1. Even the New York mayor had something to say about the same.

Draymond Green is impressed by Trae Young

Handling a whole crowd shout ‘F**k you’ at you, while the game is on the line is something not every player can handle. Take it from Draymond Green. He is one of the most hated players by the fans around the league. However, he never let the fans get under his skin.

Green is mighty impressed by how Young has been handling the same at his young age. Draymond is glad the rest of the league now gets to see what he knew for quite some time.
