It’s been a mixed afternoon for Rohit Sharma in Port Elizabeth. On one hand, Rohit finally got out of his rut and looks poised to score a big innings.

But on the other hand, Rohit was involved in not one but two run-outs, as he was involved in the dismissals of both Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane.
The first one was more Kohli’s fault than Rohit’s, as the Indian skipper took off far too quickly and found himself short of the bowler’s crease.
Kohli was more than halfway down the track, before he was sent back by Rohit. Kohli was left for dead, as he could only stare at Rohit in disgust.
Rahane was next, as he nudged the ball towards mid-on and immediately called for a run. Rohit was at fault as he was ball-watching, and then sent Rahane back.
Ajinkya Rahane had no chance, as he could only manage a rueful smile.
