Twitter reactions on Deepak Chahar’s incredible opening spell: Twitter was exhilarated at watching the senior Chahar brother’s opening spell.

During the third T20I of the ongoing India’s tour of West Indies at Province Stadium in Guyana, India pacer Deepak Chahar made early inroads into the hosts’ batting lineup to reduce them to 14/3 in the fourth over.

Opening the bowling alongside senior pacer in Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Chahar was successful in getting his first wicket in his first over itself. On the penultimate delivery, Chahar dismissed West Indies all-rounder Sunil Narine (2) courtesy a brilliant catch at mid-on by fellow fast bowler Navdeep Saini.

On the first delivery of his second over, Chahar trapped West Indies opening batsman Evin Lewis (10) plumb in front of the stump. With the batsman opting for a review, the dismissal also saw West Indies losing the same.

Having sent back the opposition’s opening pair, Chahar didn’t stop at that. On the penultimate delivery of his second over, Chahar found Shimron Hetmyer (1) wanting in front of the stumps to register his third wicket in his second over itself.

The 26-year old fast bowler registering bowling figures of 3-1-4-3 in his first spell put significant light on his ability in this format. Having successfully done the same for Indian Premier League franchise Chennai Super Kings since the last two years, Chahar would be glad to put on display a replica of his performance.
