Twitter reactions on MS Dhoni not using Spartan bat: Twitter was full of questions as the legendary cricketer supported a new bat.

There is no hiding to the fact that former India captain and current wicket-keeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni enjoys a loyal fan base. Dhoni, who has been playing for India for nearly one and a half decade now, has made bountiful fans during his career.

There have been numerous incidents of his fans showing their respect for the legendary cricketer. Fans’ affection has grown to an extent lately that they stand by the 37-year old cricketer even during times when he is undergoing a lean patch.

The latest incident of fans’ obsession regarding Dhoni was witnessed during the ongoing first ODI of Australia’s tour of India at Hyderabad. Coming in to bat at No. 5 in the 21st over, Dhoni astonished one and all when he was seen supporting a bat from India brand ‘SS’.

Dhoni has been using a bat from Australia-based company ‘Spartan’ for several years now. The change happening without any official announcement was too much to digest for Dhoni’s plentiful fans.

Social media platform Twitter witnessed Dhoni’s fans going all over the place regarding the change. While some were excited to see the veteran cricketer supporting a new bat, the others were expecting answers to their questions.

It is worth mentioning that Dhoni once again changed his bat in his innings. While he was back to using Spartan’s bat near the 30th over, he added to the confusion as he again changed the bat. At the time of writing this article, Dhoni was using a bat from SS.

The news of Dhoni’s partnership with Spartan being at odds had circulated in September last year. Because of the company running in losses, the Indian cricketer was one among several cricketers who had become non-payment victim of Spartan Sports.
