The Indian colts created history today, beating Pakistan by a whopping 203 runs to reach their 6th ICC U-19 World Cup final, breaking Australia’s record of having featured in 5 finals. India and Australia have each won the tournament thrice.

Coincidentally, India would be facing Australia in the final, hoping to record their 4th win in the history of the tournament.
The much anticipated semi-final between India and Pakistan proved to be a rather lopsided affair, with the Indian colts making a mockery of the Pakistani batting in the second innings, bowling them out for a meagre 69 runs.
Ishan Porel was the chief architect of India’s splendid bowling performance, picking up 4 top order wickets to send Pakistan crashing out of the U-19 World Cup.
Earlier in the day, Shubman Gill, the U-19 vice-captain, scored a brilliant hundred, helping India amass 271 in the first innings. Openers, Prithvi Shaw and Manjot Kalra too contirbuted with 40+ scores.
The Indian colts will now be hoping to bring the World Cup back home, with a win against Australia in the final.
A lot of these young Indian stars have received hefty IPL contracts, but would be focussed on the job at hand.
Rahul Dravid has done an incredible job with the boys and a lot of Indian cricketers credited him for the success of the young Indian colts.
