Joe Rogan and Brendan Schaub discuss what may lie ahead for Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier.

At UFC 257 Joe Rogan was not present to commentate on the action proceedings, however, the premier voice of UFC evidently did witness the incredible TKO victory of Dustin Poirier over Conor McGregor. Rogan, who is the host of one of the most famous podcasts-The Joe Rogan Experience-used his platform to give a break down of the UFC 257 headliner fight.

In the recent episode of TJRE, the American stand-up comic artist and former MMA professional Brendan Schaub was the guest. Hence, the fight talks were expected.

The two talked about the boxing skills of Dustin Poirier, the betting loss, and what lies ahead for both fighters.

Joe Rogan Lauds Dustin Poirier

“That just shows you what a cracker Dustin Poirier is,” Rogan said. “The fact that Max Holloway who beats the st out of Calvin Kattar and says I’m the best boxer in the UFC and Dustin’s like ‘hold on, do you not remember what the fk just went down a few months ago.

“Dustin Poirier is a bad motherf****r. He’s a bad motherf****r, he really is.”

Listening to Rogan, Schaub added that he is a fan of Conor McGregor and what transpired at the event made him lose a lot of money.

“He takes him out to fight because me and the. You know Theo is a big Dustin Poirier fan because both are from Louisiana, and obviously, I’m a Conor d**k rider and so and I love Dustin, I’m way closer with Dustin but, Just for the show just for fun to bet and so bet Theo a thousand dollars cash. So, as soon Dustin, I don’t know why I thought this, as soon as he got backstage he almost got to his phone text me ‘Pay Theo his money.’

Rogan and Schaub discussed the well of possibilities the match-up has opened and talked about the future fights of both fighters.

“Well, there’s two options we talked about…The purest option is Charles Oliveira [For Dustin Poirier]. That’s if you are a purist you want that fight. I think I want that fight. If you want s**tload of money before Conor fights someone else you have the rematch.

What’s Next For Conor?

While for Dustin the path will have to adjoin the Lightweight title scenario but, in the case of Conor it might not be the case, Joe Rogan implies the time right is right for the McGregor Vs. Diaz trilogy fight.

“Well, Conor vs. Nate Diaz is an excellent option. It’s an excellent option because that doesn’t offend anyone, give him some time off. It doesn’t offend anyone and Nate is not the kind of kicker that Dustin is, he’s much more of a Boxer. It falls into Conor’s wheelhouse more and Nate is also insanely durable, and Nate also has a finish over Conor. Conor does not have a finish over Nate.” said Joe Rogan.”
