Arnold Schwarzenegger had gotten into trouble due to his steroid usage. Steroid use in combat sports is highly discouraged, and even the UFC has taken a strict stance against it after collaborating with USADA. The organization’s unwavering commitment to combating steroids has resulted in numerous fighters facing suspensions as a result of their strict disciplinary actions.
Despite the efforts to deter steroid use, many bodybuilders and a few athletes continue to rely on steroids and PEDs. Notably, Arnold Schwarzenegger has openly admitted to his previous use of steroids, shedding light on the persistence of their usage among certain individuals.
This situation led to an uncomfortable encounter for Schwarzenegger when an individual claiming to be a UFC fighter confronted him in a parking lot. Presumably, the confrontation was triggered by the former bodybuilder’s candid admission about his past steroid use, highlighting the ongoing controversy surrounding steroids in combat sports.
Fake UFC fighter confronted Arnold Schwarzenegger
In a viral video, an individual who identified themselves as a UFC fighter expressed extreme agitation over Arnold Schwarzenegger’s steroid use. This outburst was fueled by Arnold’s previous public acknowledgments of his steroid use, which have been widely known.
The guy said, “Arnold, I have one question. Why do you promote steroid use? I don’t get it, I don’t understand because for me I wanna get everybody naturally”. He also clarifies himself and says, “I’m not against you, Arnold.”
During the incident, the person claiming to be a UFC fighter managed to locate Arnold as he was attempting to enter his car. Security personnel swiftly intervened, working to keep the agitated individual away from Arnold. Remarkably, Arnold remained calm throughout the altercation, handling the situation with composure despite the intensity of the confrontation.
Arnold talks about drug OD and steroids
Arnold has often spoke about his Steroid use publicly. Evidently, there are many problems associated with steroid usage in the later part of life. Thus, he acknowledged the multitude of issues that can arise in later life as a result of steroid usage.
Arnold said, “Bodybuilding always, always was considered a safe sport. But now it’s not. Now people are dying—they’re dying because of overdoses of drugs and they don’t know what the f*** they’re doing, they’re listening to charlatans. If I want to get medical advice from a doctor, I go to UCLA or I go to the Cleveland Clinic.”
Despite his own history with steroids, Arnold strongly advises bodybuilders and fighters against their use. Understanding the potential consequences firsthand, he emphasizes the importance of avoiding such substances and does not wish for others to encounter the same challenges.
