Joe Rogan has one of the most recognizable voices in combat sports. Having worked with the UFC for over two decades, he also runs a podcast that is widely considered to be the biggest podcast on the planet The Joe Rogan Experience. In his show, he discusses a variety of topics from politics, sports, climate change, etc, and has never shied away from making his opinion heard. However, while this quality is appreciated by many, Joe Rogan has also received a fair share of backlash as a result of it.
But that doesn’t seem to have stopped the UFC commentator from being honest, as he recently spoke about yet another controversial topic during his podcast.
In one of the recent episodes of his podcast, the veteran UFC commentator touched upon controversy involving Target. One of the largest retailers in the United States has suffered a financial setback, and Rogan discussed the why.
What did Joe Rogan say about Bud Light and Target’s pride month controversy?
Target and Bud Light have been facing major backlash for their pride month merchandising. The Beer company’s backlash started when it announced a partnership with Dylan Mulvaney, a transgender influencer. Rogan called him a ‘confused person.’
On the flip side, Target’s merchandising during pride month has bothered many people across the United States for trying to force it upon individuals to see.

Speaking of the same, Rogan had this to say during an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience. Check out the video below:
“Target lost billions of dollars. Because they tried to have this Pride selection.”
It is worth noting that the sales of Bud Light dropped 29.5% in the week ending May 20th. And Target lost approximately $9.3 billion as a result of a fall in share prices amid controversy.
Rogan once received heavy backlash from experts
The Joe Rogan Experience podcast has grown to become one of the most popular shows on the streaming platform Spotify. However, the program is frequently criticized for its unrestrained nature, since Rogan freely addresses issues such as pandemics and vaccines.
Due to worries about the spread of misinformation about the pandemic, a number of experts from around the world once issued an open letter urging that the show be banned.
The episode with Dr. Robert Malone, an American physician and scientist, in particular, drew a lot of criticism. Twitter suspended Malone’s account for the same reason, and YouTube took the video down. Surprisingly, the podcast is still available on Spotify.
What are your thoughts on Rogan’s open views? What do you guys think about his reaction to Target and Budlight?
