UFC Vegas 7 Loses Its Co-main Event Just Hours Before The Kick off

Just hours before the start of the ultimate event i.e., UFC Vegas 7, the initial co-main event of the night is removed from the fight card, following the ever-present Covid misfortune.

UFC Vegas 7 becomes another UFC event to get influenced by SARS-COV-2 virus. The Co-main event of the night, the Light Heavyweight Bout between Ovince Saint Preux and Alonzo Menifield is off from the fight card, as Ovince Saint Preux with a positive Covid-19 result had to withdraw from the event. However, as per sources the fight is only removed from the current event, and is now rescheduled for the September 5 fight night event.

According to Ovince’s manager, this is the second time he has caught the deadly virus, and is currently safe and asymptomatic.
