UFC Superstar Conor McGregor is no different, although he has chosen to go with the bizarre. The ‘Notorious one’ posted a video on his Instagram account where he can be seen holding a jar, full to the brim with dead bees.

McGregor seemed sceptical of his unusual snack.

“Are you sure they’re not wasps? Wasps are no good, just bees,” he said.

“Just eat them, like jellies?” he continued, before girlfriend Dee Devlin asks whether they still have a sting in them.

“What do they taste like? You can see the honey coming out the back of them, look!” he said as he picked one up.

He finally popped one in to his mouth. However, it appears that even he isn’t entirely convinced about the bee snack.

“Oh my Lord what the f*** is this?” he said as he chowed on the bees.

Archie is a WWE and UFC Editor/Author at the SportsRush. Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
