Daniel Cormier Gives an Update About His Injury

In the recent episode of DC & Helwani, Daniel Cormier made an appearance in front of camera and addressed questions regarding his injury. He said “It’s much better”. He jokingly even cited his dilemma in identifying which eye did get injured in first place. However, he later gave a clear understanding of his current situation, and conveyed, “It was very bad, Initially. You know the first week and a half or week or so, it was really bad, it wasn’t opening, and it was completely blurry. But now it kind of feels like eye lashes in it.”

Cormier confirmed that no surgery will take place now, and the injury does not bother him anymore. “It was bad for like a week, then it started to get better. I got some medicine, antibiotics & stuff that just kind of go in to my eye three times a day, and it just started to get better, better, and better. And now today, it feels good but just feels like there’s something in there. You know when you get an eyelash, just can’t get it out, just right in the corner right here, it’s not bad though, it’s not bothering me all that much.”

DC also talked about his retirement and other things that have a direct relation with him. He also had words about Jon Jones, Stipe Miocic, and Francis Ngannou. Here’s a link of the whole interview- DC is Back.
