Valencia CF took to Twitter to troll their former manager Gary Neville with a brutal reaction.
Gary Neville was appointed as the manager of Valencia in December 2015. However, he barely lasted four months in his job before he was sacked after a series of disappointing performances, which included a 7-0 loss to Barcelona.
Valencia parted ways with Neville while they were only six points above the relegation zone with two months of league football still to play. The club, however, survived relegation.
The former Manchester United footballer hasn’t set another foot on management since.
Now, the Spanish club brutally trolled their former manager on Twitter while reaction to a fan’s tweet.
A Leeds United fan messaged Valencia, “Follow back or Gary Neville takes back over” on Twitter.

The club funnily clarified in their following tweet that they support their current manager, Marcelino.

After a series of chopping and changing following the sacking of Gary Neville, which includes four managers within 50 competitive games across all competitions, Valencia appointed Marcelino in July 2017.
The side is currently 9th in the La Liga table and plays in the Europa League after finishing third in their Champions League group stage.
Ferran Torres (18). He’s still learning to adapt to Marcelino’s rigorous defensive demands, but he’s become the latest talent to emerge from the academy to the Valencia first team after Carlos Soler & Toni Lato.

Every manager needs a player who’s willing to go into battle for him. For Marcelino, Gabriel is that player. In fact, Marcelino took Gabriel’s advice and convinced the board to sign Francis Coquelin.
Only one team has conceded fewer Liga goals than Valencia this season: Atleti. https://t.co/lwwRVTGomS

Valencia famously beat Manchester United in the final group game of the European competition but failed to break into the top two.
The Spanish club reached the round-of-16 of the Europa League after cruising to a 3-0 aggregate victory over Scottish champions Celtic. They face Russian side Krasnodar in the next knock-out round.
Let’s be honest.
This Valencia squad is not assembled suitably for Marcelino system.
No real RB, weak LW pair(one not good enough, second not in form), awful choices for RW position and not a single good striker beside Rodrigo.

I’m oddly optimistic about what Valencia can be next season if Marcelino makes it through this one. That’s a quality squad they’ve assembled, with stability and the right drive, I trust in their chances of being a great one.

Valencia are on an 8-game unbeaten run at the moment, which includes a 2-2 draw against Barcelona at Camp Nou. The side will take on Real Betis in the semifinal of the Copa del Rey on Thursday.
