Haven is straightforward when it comes to map learning. Since there are three different sites on the map, it is fairly simple to remember which callout associates with a certain location on the map. Here are some of the main callouts to remember for each site:

When playing on A Site: A Long, A Ramps, A Lobby, A Short, Towers, Heaven, Tunnel, and Heaven Stairs.

When playing on B Site: Mid Window, Courtyard, B Door, B Back, A Link, and C Link.

When playing on C Site: Mid Doors, Garage, C Window, Connector, C Cubby, and C Long.

About attacking on Haven in Valorant

Attacking on Haven is not that difficult, however, it does require a lot of coordination and planning to execute a certain site. It is better to keep Agents than support at a long range, like Brimstone, Omen, and so on. Additionally, the map is also prone to lurking, so a trap-based Agent is highly recommended.

How to attack A Site on Haven

When attacking the A Site on Haven, players have the option to push from A Long while rest will support from A Short. Keep three players on A Long, while rest two pave their way from A Short to Towers. If possible you keep one player on standby near A Lobby, to watch out for incoming flanks.

Now when entering Site A, there are a few crucial spots that should be smoked off for easy entry. The spots in highlight are A Heaven, Tunnel, and Towers. Most players try to stick around these areas, it is better to cut off their line of sight. Additionally, check areas near A Ramps and A Short exit, as opponents can hide between those blind spots.

You can also go for another execution with two players on each entry point of A Site, while the last players will fake presence on other sites. It is suggested to Agents like Yoru as his set of abilities are great for deceiving. However, it is a risky move to take as they might get outnumbered. To increase changes, make sure the roaming players get another support, while the rest of be attacking players remain on standby near A Site entries.

Where to plant Spike on A Site?

The best spot to plant on A Site is in front of the rectangular box upon entry. This position gains you protection from players at A Heaven and Tunnel. However, in case you have A Heaven control, an open plant is completely possible.

How to attack B Site on Haven

The B Site on Haven has only one direct entry point through Courtyard, however, players do have the option to enter Garage and make their way towards C Link. Now, the way through Garage is far riskier as opponents can easily hold that area.

In order to take control of B Site, The team should be divided into two parts. One part of the team will take control of the Garage, while the rest will push towards the site from the main door. While the objective team makes its way into the site, the team near Garage will clear C Link and put pressure on B Site.

Alternatively, two players can also go for C Long while the main team waits for their entry through Courtyard. This would make the players on B Site rotate to C, making it clear for others to enter. However, it is a bit risky as losing both players on C can lead to a 3v5 situation.

Where to plant Spike on B Site?

The two best positions to plant the Spike on B Site are the spaces that are present on either side of the big box on entry. However, it depends on the situation and where the opponents are. If more players are near A Site, then planting near space on the C Site side is advised. In case opponents are near C Site, then the opposite would be the right call.

Try to stay near the site, rather than taking long-range fights after the plant. If players have a smoke-based Agent or one with barriers, they can easily take cover and defuse the Spike. By having a close distance, you can create panic on opposing sites by instilling fear.

How to attack C Site on Haven

The C Site on Haven has two main entry points from the attacker side, one through Garage and the other through C Long. It is mandatory to take Garage control whenever going for a plant on C Site, as it will restrict opponents to go toward C Link and put pressure on players in C Site.

On the other hand, friendlies on C Long have to force their way in by taking long-range gunfights. However, the entry can be eased by smoking off the line of sight for players on the site. This reduces the risk when running from C Long and allows players to support from Garage and C Link. Also, players should keep a flank watch near C Long, as they can take care of lurkers.

Where to plant Spike on C Site?

The best place to plant the Spike on Haven’s C Site is on the left of the big box parallel to C Long. That position can be defended from various angles, including from C Long which has two hiding spots. Additionally, in-site players can also waste opponent time by constantly shooting at them from various spots.

Now, if you’re defending the planted Spike from C Long, make sure you have another player with you who can protect you from flankers. If it is a 1v1, staying close range can yield the best reward as opponents will deliberately pre-fire C Long.

About defending on Haven in Valorant

When defending, the same roster will be used, thus making it crucial to pick Agents carefully. The most used strategy for defense is 2-1-2, where one Sentinel is a must on the B Site. Also, proper callouts can help the team, when going for retakes when overrun by enemies.

How to defend on A Site?

To defend the A Site, at least two players must be present at the start of the round. One player will be holding from Heaven and another one will freely move around in site. This allows both players to get enough intel about what will happen on the site. Make sure all key locations like A Main and A Short are completely in line of sight when defending.

It is better if the freely roaming player can stay near A Short, as it will let the player know about who is coming. In case of rush, these players can easily ask for backup and one player on B Site can come to A Site fast. While one player from C Site will get info on B Site if a lack of intel is there.

How to retake A Site?

In case of lost possession of A Site, it is better to corner the players from all directions. On defending player can go to A Heaven, while another can come from A Main to sandwich players in between and flush them out.

A third can also join from A Short or Tunnel to create more pressure on the site to take a rapid takeover. However, in case the last player stands, they can either risk eliminating others or save their weapons.

How to defend on B Site?

B Site defense can be done by one player only, however, they do need support on Garage. Sentinels are best suited for this site as the site has only one main entry and opponents can be slowed down. Thus, granting other friendlies to come for support no matter wherever they are.

Caution must be played near the Garage as it is the most vulnerable part and opponents will try to take it to gain control over both B and C Sites. So make sure, that place is well protected to defend B Site properly.

How to retake B Site?

Retaking the B Site is fairly difficult as it was too many corners to check, thus requiring coordinated push with high alert. Make sure to check corners near B Main and the back of the site to ensure a steady retake.

It is best to approach the site from Mid Courtyard, and check every corner from there and have support from either A or C Site players. However, the chance of success is much lower as it is almost impossible to crack.

How to defend on C Site?

Defending C Site requires caution on both C Long and Garage as they are the only two main entry points. Keep one player hidden behind Garage Window and another looking at C Long from the big box cover. This placement should gain enough intel on opponent moves while staying safe.

As mentioned before, the focus must be given to Garage the most as it links two sites together. Also if Garage control is lost, rotates from A and B Sites are not possible and create a lot of pressure on C Site for defenders.

How to retake C Site?

Retaking the C Site can be done from two sides easily, one from the Garage and another C Link. Both these positions gain you enough cover to proceed to the site and hunt players while checking corners. Make sure to pre-fire common spots like Platform and Logs before continuing into site.

The C Site can be retaken from C Long as well, but the lack of cover and long distance to cover makes it much riskier. Thus, it is better to avoid that position during crucial situations like retakes.
