Virat Kohli reaction vs West Indies: Watch Indian captain 'ticks boxes' in aggressive reply to Kesrick Williams in Hyderabad T20I

Virat Kohli reaction vs West Indies: The Indian captain was expressive against the West Indian bowler in Hyderabad.

During the first T20I of the ongoing West Indies’ tour of India at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, India captain Virat Kohli emulated West Indies fast bowler Kesrick Williams’ “notebook” celebration.

It all happened on the third delivery of the 16th over when Kohli hit a brilliant six off Williams to follow it up with an entertaining celebration. It is worth mentioning that the aforementioned celebration was made public when Chadwick Walton had copied Williams in the Caribbean Premier League.

A furious Kohli was seen ticking boxes in the notebook after hitting Williams for a four and a six in a fitting reply.

Kohli and Williams faced-off against each other several times during the match. The Indian skipper was often seen complaining to the umpire with respect to Williams coming in his way while him running between the wickets.

A major reason behind Kohli venting out his anger was also because of him not middling the ball first up. Having scored at a run-a-ball for the first 20-25 balls, Kohli mis-timing the ball regularly was evident from watching him.

Coming in to bat at No. 3 in the fourth over, Kohli eventually made a mockery of a 208-run chase as the hosts won the match with eight deliveries to go. Leading from the front, Kohli ended up scoring 94* (50) with the help of six fours and six sixes.
