Virat Kohli songs playlist: Watch Shikhar Dhawan and Ravi Shastri reveal Kohli's favourite music playlist

Virat Kohli songs playlist: The Indian coach and opening batsman opened up on Indian captain’s favourite music playlist.

India captain Virat Kohli entered the rare list of cricketers who have a stand or pavilion dedicated to their name. Kohli received the honour during the renaming ceremony of the iconic Feroz Shah Stadium to Arun Jaitley Stadium.

While Home Minister Amit Shah was the chief guest, Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju was the Guest of Honour for the ceremony. The Indian cricket team was also present at the ceremony.

Speaking during the event, Kohli was short of words after receiving the honour. “Never thought I would be honoured at such a grand scale. Don’t know how to address this as my family, wife, brother, sister-in-law are here,” Kohli said.

In what came as a light-hearted moment from the function, anchor Manish Paul asked India head coach Ravi Shastri about Kohli’s favourite music playlist especially when he’s in a calm mood. “Make Shikhar Dhawan sit with him and see the enjoyment. There will be plentiful songs. He is sitting in the second row. Ask him,” Shastri was quoted as saying.

The onus then shifted from Shastri to opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan. Standing tall on his brilliant sense of humour, Dhawan didn’t shy away from making everyone laugh instantly. “Before the wedding or after the wedding,” Dhawan hilariously counter-questioned to Paul.

“Virat [Kohli] is fond of listening to Punjabi songs. He really likes Gurdas Maan sahab’s songs. He likes love songs. He is a fan of Arijit Singh. Whenever we are sitting in the room, he listens to these singers. Then there are other Punjabi songs as well,” Dhawan said.
