WATCH: Suresh Raina pulls off a brilliant run out to dismiss Robin Uthappa

Cricket, IPL and CSK returned to Chepauk after a gap of 1095 days and a sea of yellow welcomed the yellow brigade back home.

It had been a painful wait for Chennai and they wanted everything in their power to make this occasion memorable for everyone involved.

The fans were brilliant, but Suresh Raina was a little bit better, dishing out one of the best run outs you’ll ever see.

Uthappa who was striking the ball beautifully, hit the ball towards the off side and waited for the ball to pass the diving Suresh Raina.

Dinesh Karthik though took off for the single and was almost alongside Robin Uthappa, who then had to go for the run and ended up losing his wicket.

Raina dove to his left, fumbled a little bit put turned around and took down the stumps.

The wicket did come against the run of play for CSK, who were under the gun from Uthappa, who had hit Jadeja for two of the most beautiful sixes you’ll ever see in cricket.

Match Situation

CSK put KKR into bat, hoping to jump on the bandwagon of chasing down targets and would feel pretty good about where they are presently in the game.

KKR had gotten off to a decent start, but having lost 5 wickets before the 10th over, you would have to say that CSK are in the driver’s seat.
